Register for the annual CMSA convention

Pre-registration closes Monday, June 1. Rates increase on Tuesday, June 2. Keep reading for details.

(An inaccurate email went out earlier today from CMSA Events; the following rates are correct.)

Regular Member and Non-Member pre-registration will end this Monday at 5 p.m. ET for CMSA’s Annual Convention at the Waldorf-Astoria, June 8-10, 2009. Pre-registration rates are $995 for Members and $1,695 for Non-Members.

After Monday, only walk-in registration will be allowed and the rates will increase to $1,295 for Members and $2,195 for Non-Members.

For Members in transition, please contact CMSA’s Megan Brandt-Meyer (212-589-0956) for information on special discount pricing.

CMSA also has finalized the details for a special Investor Reporting Package Discussion Group that will take place on Monday June 8, from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. The IRP Discussion is a not-to-be-missed program for servicer CEO’s, investors, rating agencies and data providers.

Topics covered during this session include:

  • Investor reporting elements: Do reporting elements create confidentiality issues for servicers? Can Excel-based files’ delivery mechanism be used to deliver this information?
  • What’s more cost-effective, collateral information in XML while delivering the remainder in Excel?
  • Enhancing reporting standards to meet investors’ growing needs. Are we transparent?
  • Is XML the most effective way to address “transparency,” or does Excel suffice? (You know what I think! — Jim)
