Midwest fun

Between the MISMO meeting in Dallas and the CREFC conference in New York, I spent the weekend in Michigan. I was born in Detroit and still have friends and family there, so I got a hall pass to go to the Orion Music Festival that Metallica put on.

Metallica took over Belle Island and had a two day European style music festival. The Red Hot Chili Peppers headlined Saturday night, and Metallica took the stage Sunday night. Thanks to the hook up from Lars, we had a great view of the show. Enjoy the clips:

Cedar Point

Before we headed to Detroit, I went to a great amusement park in Sandusky Ohio called Cedar Point. If you are a roller caster fan, it is a must visit park. Check out the ride on the new coaster called the Gatekeeper.
